Tir ji Chikki
Sesame seed and jaggery fudge (a variation of Tir ja Ladoo)
The ladoo mixture poured out and rolled flat instead of being shaped into balls, then cut into small squares and left to set. Mitho; made from exactly the same sesame and jaggery as the ladoos.

Follow steps 1 to 4 of Tir ja Ladoo exactly: clean the sesame seeds; roast them on a low flame, stirring, until they start tempering; set aside; melt the jaggery in a deep pan on a medium flame to a thick syrup, and when it boils and leaves the sides of the pan mix in the roasted seeds thoroughly.

With a greased rolling pin, spread the mixture out evenly.
Cut it into small square pieces and let it set.
